Fifty percent of our power generation investments have zero carbon emissions, and the size of renewables in QIA’s infrastructure power generation assets has expanded to 46%. In January 2020, QIA announced that it would no longer deploy new investments in hydrocarbons.

We engage with relevant global institutions and authorities to drive positive change.
QIA is a founding member of the One Planet Sovereign Wealth Fund Working Group and in 2018 helped develop a set of guidelines to integrate climate change analysis into investment decisions.
In November 2020, QIA, through its involvement in the One Planet Sovereign Wealth Fund initiative, pledged its support for the recommendations of the Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures (TCFD).
